Nicole as an End of Life Doula liaises and consults/ works with all Traditional Funeral Directors in Victoria and your preferred choice. Death Care at Home Holistic Funeral Services has collaborations with Natural Grace Funerals Australia - The Sanctuary Fairfield and, Greenhaven Funerals Carly & Tim Dalton Moorabbin.

DCAH also provides professional funeral guidance, celebrant services and End of Life Doula support to all funeral directors and Death Doulas across Victoria.

Please note all prices quoted on this price list displaying cost of goods and services will incur a 10% gst.

Transfers all include high quality equipment and vehicles and fully trained team member who will support you and take your directions as to how you wish for the transfer to unfold. Our fees include time for you to create ritual within the transfer. You will not be rushed at any time. Nicole will be engaged to participate in the uplift and transfer on request.

All vehicle are insured and mortuary safe. Transfers include exceptional staff from Tranquil Step and transportation services as directed by funeral partners.

NOTE: Families are welcome to source their own shrouds and work with artists to create personalised shrouds and coffin decorations.

DCAH provides a simple cotton shroud & simple cremation bearer flat rate $396 for our guests. This forms part of the Dignified Direct Cremation service.

Families can also choose from bespoke hand made shrouds ranging from $600 plus

An additional fee of $275 will apply if an oversize coffin or shroud is required. DCAH Reserves the right to determine the necessity for an oversize coffin.

Depending on what support you need a plan can be created bespoke to you. Viewing in collaboration with one of DCAH’s funeral venues during Business Hours for 1 hour ranges from $250 per hour.

For a After-Hours Viewing from 6pm or later, can incur an additional fee up to $500

Holistic DCAH funeral/body care, Holistic Care consult flat fee $320 per guest. Comprises triage visitation with the deceased, family meeting support and simple planning meeting prior to uplift to mortuary or direct cremation.

This is in addition to the DCAH professional Services Fee $550 comprising Death Care administration, third party management and administration of the death registration and certifications. Ashes collection and transport.

The professional service to engage DCAH is $550.

The Hire of a venue for a funeral ceremony, memorial, viewing, is a third party cost. Death Care at Home can provide a list of venues. . Families can also request a quote directly from their preferred venues not on DCAH current supplier list. There is no additional charge should DCAH book venue on behalf of client. Note arrangements for locations will be charged as a disbursement.

Venues often provide a 2.5 hour venue space with catering charges in addition to the room charge or waiver room charge depending on agreements.

Death Care at Home, engages in Cremation Services with the following Cemetery Trusts and Memorial Parks. The pricing and non pricing related information will vary based on service type selected.

DCAH does not add an additional fees to these cremation disbursements. Should families request Burial, this is an additional service not in current price list or schedule of fees and would be quoted on a case by case basis via the preferred locations that deliver burial services.

Catering/Refreshments - Price per head will vary dependent on venue and caterer. Nicole can provide price list of suppliers from simple fare to high teas and sit down dining affairs. DCAH offers direct from Cemeteries Trust and event suppliers on site catering packages. DCAH does not add fees to any disbursements related to catering and refreshment costs incurred as part of the DCAH management fee.

DCAH does not offer Funeral Packages, we do not offer a mandatory combination of goods and services rather we provide this itemised price list of goods and services for selection by clients who are seeking a flexible approach to farewells. This allows family to create a bespoke experience that works for them financially and aligned to their wishes.

DCAH Direct Cremations add the empathy and personal connection not always found in online services.

The professional service to engage DCAH is $550. It is then by design as to the items incurred by the client and disbursements. This flexible approach pertains to Dignified Direct Cremations. Direct unattended funerals are the least expensive method of cremation in the funeral industry. This is our core offering, combined with holistic after death home care.
